It will probably be the same as upcoming US release, containing both theatrical and extended cut.

just got an email from amazon.co.uk today

King Kong has the best VC-1 transfer I've ever seen. I don't know how the Euro release is gunna be, but it's prolly the same.

That's weird, amazon still has my delivery estimate as being before 16th February...

Yeah I'm guessing its delayed until next month now as mines hasn't been dispatched. Bit of a joke to be honest, they should let us know the release date changes in advance not the day they have down as the release date.

Did anyone get there copy yesterday/today? I'm still waiting on mine, but cant wait for when it comes. Just to see how good Kong and the dinosaurs look.

this subtitles on the bd:
English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Norwegian, Danish, Swedish, Finnish, Portuguese, Greek, Croatian, Dutch, Mandarin

When I read that thread title I thought it was The King Kong, but it's just a King Kong.

I have the new one (nice film for sure) on HDDVD but would love to see the original on Bluray. That would be a must buy! I think most elements are VivendiUniversal property now so I'm assuming StudioCanal or someone who really cares for it has a nice print sitting ready to go.

Because, subtitles on amazon.co.uk are different from subtitles that jojo2351 mentioned.

Subtitles are (reading from the back cover right now): English SDH, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Greek, Swedish, Danish, Finnish, Dutch, Norwegian, Portuguese, Traditional Mandarin.

Wow I didn't have a clue that this features the extended cut as well. That's brilliant news hopefully it will come down a few pounds to make it a real bargain. I wonder why they don't show this on the cover?

Didn't it drop a ton-load of extras?

I have a 3-disc DVD set bought last January I think and I still haven't opened it. lol.

It also went OOP sometime during the year. double lol
