Is Futurama Getting Renewed? - Blu-ray Forum

So back before the Futurama DVDs, it was mentioned that if the sales were good, they might bring the series back to FOX. I have just read that FOX wants to add more comedies in the fall. Anyone think Futurama is coming back?

I hope not. I love Futurama, but Family Guy SUCKED when it came back, and the new Futurama movies are already getting stale (Bender's Game was garbage). Futurama's final episode is fairly fitting for a series finale, too, so I don't really want them to f everything up by bringing it back

That would be to good to be true Futurama is a great show and when it started to out class the simpsons it was cancled

Well I know that Comedy Central will be putting the movies on their network as episodes after they all get released. But for Fox picking it back up, I doubt it. I hope they do though.

blasphemy..benders game is the best yet.

family guy was never all that good anyways..it was a cool change for the first couple season, but it got old really fast

I agree, Bender's Game was good and I always hated Family Guy. I would like Fox to renew it but who knows what's going to happen.

yeah, I heard - that's awesome. And 26 episodes is pretty much the max your can ask for, so the network must really be interested in reviving the show.

i remember reading a while back that matt groening was going to be renewing the series. he was talking about being busy with doing the simpsons and futurama.

Funny you say that.

Family guy was AWESOME before they canned it. Every woman I met claimed to hate it. When it came back it was lame and every woman in the world jumped on the bandwagon of loving stuie. Bandwagon-*****s.

The final film made it seem like it could go either way. If it isn't continued, then I'm pretty sad because I really enjoy Futurama a lot.
