Default new here a quick ?

ok i have been tryin to build a sound system im not completely dumb when it comes to this but...where it gets tricky now...im stationed in europe and i did some research here and found that onkyo has a good hd receiver for a good price...down side it doesnt work in European wall outlets.(not dual voltage) they do have 2 hd recievers on base that are dual voltage one is sony the other pioneer but they start at 799/899...kinda outa my range to build a complete set up. so i need to know a good receiver that is dual voltage and is hd...i do have a sharp aquous bd player...thanks in advance im stuck in a jam here and dont wanna spend 900 bucks on just the receiver...(u no if its dual voltage if on the back tag it says 110~240 FYI)

Maybe not what you wanted to hear, but I would recommend to not go Onkyo if they're only available in the US. There are plenty of great receiver manufacturers out there with comparable (or better!) products that'll suit your needs and give you less of a headache in the long run.

Instead of dual voltage, many receivers would be set at the factory to run at the proper voltage.

You may just need to invest in a converter. I think I have seen them for under $50 online. You can get either a 120-240 or 240-120 converter. Radio Shack in the States sell them.
