does anyone know of any good ps3 third person shooter games.ive played tomb raider,uncharted,stranglehold

I suppose if you want can call Uncharted a shooter, you can also say Metal Gear Solid 4 is a shooter too, by that regard. So there's another one, which is also the best of them.

Easily MGS4, than can totally be played a a third person shooter.

uncharted blows. it plays more like tomb raider than a shooter.. atleast as far as i could tolerate it.

dead space is much better, and prettier to look at...

MGS4 thuogh, takes the cake, much more of a shooter than the other 2.

MGS4 was a total slow motion let down.
Fallout 3 can be played 3rd person. That was entertaining.

FPS is my prefrence........COD4 anyone

That's a negative ghost rider. While Uncharted might not have been your cup of tea, in no way does it blow and in no way is Dead Space prettier to look at either...

i actually think Dead Space's graphical accomplishments best Uncharted.
Sure Dead Space's facial animations are pretty poor, but Uncharted's explosions and smoke is absolutely horrid.

I guess the reason why Uncharted seems better is that it's much more colorful than the Ishimura with a massive power failure

Army of Two was an awesome game, with or without a friend to play alongside. The ONLY problems I had with Army of Two were the length of the game, and how incredibly easy it was to beat once you really learned the system. I beat the game on the hardest difficulty in under 4 hours, which was a shorter amount of time than any of the other difficulties I played.... I really don't think ANY game should get shorter the "harder" it becomes. I really loved the buddy-driven story, though. Maybe that is the biggest drawback, as I REALLY wanted more.

Metal Gear Solid 4 was definitely game of the year in 2008. If you haven't played it, quit looking at this and go get it, especially since the price is down to $40....

There's always Mercenaries 2, the whole game is about shooting, driving/flying, and blowing stuff up. And regardless of what some might say, it's a ton of fun.

Dead Space, Fallout 3, and Metal Gear Solid 4 should be your next choices.

Rainbow six 2 can also be played in third person. I would also try ghost recon.

For me SOCOM was a disappointment although I haven't logged in lately so it probably has improved. Still i believe ign gave them a 4.5 rating.
