Default Pink Floyd Blu-ray fans

Anybody wishing that the Pink Floyd 'Pulse' or 'Delicate Sound of Thunder' concerts would get released on Blu-ray? A wide screen lossless presentation would be a dream!

I'm pretty sure Pulse and Delicate Sound Of Thunder were shot on videotape so don't hold your breath waiting for them to come out on blu ray.[they in all probability won't]

Unhappy Pink desert

Here we are, years after this thread began and still not much Pink on blu. Many great concerts which could be transferred, Delicate Sound of Thunder being my choice, as well as The Wall and others Pink Floyd were involved in.
I remember listening to them year ago being interviewed about The Wall becoming a movie and the question was asked if they planned on doing the same with Dark Side of the Moon. They answered that once technology had improved some they might do so. Can't think of a better time than now......

The Wall (film) is being remastered for an upcoming Blu-ray release.

When to comes to Pulse, that concert was shot on videotape, so forget about a Blu-ray release. DSoT was shot on 16 mm film, so there are some chances of an incipient release.

Since there isn't much Pink Floyd stuff to be released on Blu-ray at all (especially concerts), I think PULSE might get a BD release. It's one of the better known concerts out there, and it'd be a pretty big thing, if released. The video will still not look very good, but at least it'll have lossless audio. I do hope that if it's announced, it won't take as long to be released as the DVD . That really was excruciating.

And of course Live at Pompeii needs a release. The director's cut doesn't need to be on it (I'd rather have it destroyed, to be honest), but in any case, the original version should be on the BD, remastered. All the extra stuff with the band that was included in later versions, they could just put in the bonus features section.

The footage shot of the Wall concert, intended for the film, would of course be the holy grail. What's on YouTube doesn't look bad at all, so it's a mystery why this never got released.
