Why dosn't DLP have its own forum? Was just looking at some on Amazon and they seem pretty cheap... 60'' for under 1500... is this because of quality issues? How do you all feel these stack up againt LCD and Plasma?

Thanks

It is a rear projection TV, for which there is a forum.

How do they stack up?-Best bang for buck by far!

They are fading out because as Plasma's and LCD's get cheaper, people by them because they are thin. Allthough, you still cannot find 60" Plasma's for the same price as a DLP. Usually about TWICE as much.

Also, the only good buy would be at the 60"+ level. If you look at LCD's and Plasma's in the 40-50" range, they are CHEAP!

Until you can get "flat screen" 60+" for under $1500, DLP will still be around.

Kind of like asking why HD-DVD doesn't have it's own forum...

I'm kidding, I'm kidding! Just couldn't pass that one up. Sorry.
