That's a tough one because most of these remote light switches us RF and your Harmony 1000 doesn't work with RF so you'd keep that in mind when you search. Don't take this link the wrong way, I've just wanted to use it on someone really bad.

First result from Google should get you started

The 1000 does RF with the extender. I have my 1000 controlling my lights & love it! I bought the switches at a local place ( not a chain ) in my city.

Couldn't see myself with any other remote....Plus using the PS3 as a Blu-Ray player there was no reason for me to pay like over 300 for a receiver that does the HD decoding when i have a player that decodes it anyway.....

And the 1000 is my first Harmony Remote What a way to start out...

I bought the Lutron Spacer System (IR) with a master controller to control my lighting- all with my Harmony 880. I have a master controller and 7 switches (9 if you include the two 3-ways). Since the switches are on two different support poles in the basement, I also have an IR blaster in the 2nd box so the master controller can 'talk' to it.

The master controller was about $100, and the switches around $50 each (a little more for the 3-ways).

I love it! It allows 4 pre-programmed scenes so I have one for 'movie night', one for 'TV', one for parties, etc. I wouldn't want it any other way. I found the switches online and but got the same deal from my electrician who pretty much matched the prices. He installed everything (I'm not a big fan of elecricity )

If you're still looking for switches, let me know. I'll find the name of the site.

I think I have seen these at Home Depot or Lowes. I'm holding off on such improvements until my wife gets over the shock of having 6 remotes and learning how to switch the AVR to EXT IN for the BDP. But it sounds real nice to be able to change the lighting by remote. I assume these RC switches are dimmers, no?

They sell Lutron switches at Lowes and Home Depot, but not the Lutron Spacer System (although they can probably special order them). A regular remote controlled dimmer would allow only one setting for all switches (all on the same IR frequency). So, all lights would need to be set the same. Not good if you want to have bright areas, dark areas, etc. The Lutron Spacer System lets you do this.

Your wife will get over the shock of 6 remotes, when you get a Harmony remote to control everything- including the lights. Let's see... I was up to 7 remotes (receiver, cable, PS3, projector, lights, space heater, Sony SR11 HD camcorder) and now I have.... one! Plus, you can program events for her so she presses one button "Watch TV" or "Watch movie" and everything is set to the correct input! If not, the "Help" button asks simple questions to solve everything! Do it! Now! You'll be her hero!

I have the Lutron IR lights. The switch is behind me around the corner and my Harmony 1 does a perfect job.

I bought the Harmony One at the end of December and my wife loves it. Instead of a pile or remotes on the coffee table, there is now only one sitting in a sleek dock on our end table. I also bought the Lutron IR dimmer switch for the adjacent dinning room lights and I installed two small battery powered LED IR controlled lights above our liqour shelf, all controlled by the Harmony.

Hoser59 - can you elaborate on the above, which Lutron IR DImmer switch and the two small battery powered LED IR controlled lights.........& do they all have different signals (how did you know they wouldn't interfere with the Lufton IR Dimmer.

I'm looking into the lighting aspect for my Harmony 900 I just got and lights for my living room. Also got ambient lights for the back of the TV from Ikea.

Trying to set everything up so one command would dim all lights for movies and a different setting for Tv night viewing and regular use.

I was also looking to "Lutron Spacer System (IR) 4 scene" to start.......all comments are welcome!!

Thanks
