Default Amazon Marketplace?

I was wondering how many of you buy blus from there. For instance there is a new sealed copy of Invincible on blu for like $8. Is it safe to buy from there cause there are a lot of good deals for some of the older and newer blus.

Make sure you look at the seller or merchant's rating. That can help you decide how confident you can be when purchasing a blu-ray. Just like eBay...

i buy Blu-Rays ALL the time on the marketplace. just check the rating of each seller and I personally wouldn't buy from anyone who doesnt list specific descriptions for their listed items (i.e. if they write "sealed" or "mint condition" or anything for that matter. that way you not only know what to expect, but also kind of "insures" your purchase in case they they send you a blu in a lesser condition)

I buy all my blus from amazon, I have never had a problem with defective or damaged products. I always check ratings and descriptions for the product.

If you are able to wait it is much better to buy from there and save all the money, there are some instances where you get 2 for what you get 1 with retail.

I've bought off of the Marketplace with no problems until recently. I bought "Old School" off of a seller with excellent ratings and haven't received the item in over 3 weeks. The good news is that the seller said that he will refund the money.

All in all, I think it's safe.

it's 100% safe because amazon will always have your back if you encounter any problems. i once bought superman II directors BLU and not only did the seller never return my email inquiries, but they sent me a blank bluray case with a fake cover PRINTED out on normal computer paper. i filed a claim with amazon and my money was back in my account 2 weeks later

I buy from there all the time. Because of marketplace about 95% of my collection were under $20, and some under $10.

Amazon market place is pretty safe. Just be careful of who you buy from. Always check the sellers rating and ask questions if unsure. I bought plenty of dvds there before and never had a problem. Amazon have the A-Z policy if anything goes wrong, they will refund your money...provided that you follow all thier rules.

I have purchased from the marketplace a few times and haven't had any problems so far. I got some pretty good blu's for extremely cheap prices. Just purchased flags of our fathers for 5.00 brand new sealed.

I've had good luck in the marketplace with the only exception of a couple of CD cases that have arrived cracked.

Do you have a link to the Amazon Marketplace? Can't seem to find it from the Amazon homepage.

You access it when you find a title and Amazon indicates options for new or used pricing for the same item. Once you do this "search" for the new or used available items you are in the Marketplace and you can review the pricing of the same item (used or new).

same here. new or partially used BD's have always been great when i've used marketplace. one time i ordered a "used - like new" bluray and it came completely sealed. another time i used marketplace to order Full House (show from the 80s) for my girlfriend and the box came with disk 2 missing. contacted amazon to contact the seller they sent a whole new boxset. again results will vary but as long as you play it safe with the ratings you should be fine.

Overall, nothing but very good experiences with the Marketplace sellers, and I've used a ton of them. As others have said, go with the ones with strong feedback ratings.

No problems here and I have probably bought more than most people using that resource.
