Samsung BD-P1400 Firmware 2.0 - Blu-ray Forum

Has anybody updated their Samsung BD-P1400 to Firmware 2.0? Any issues with it? This player has been perfect for me so far, and I like to keep it updated. Samsung's website lists the update as enhancing playback compatibility or something like that. Does anybody know exactly what it is for and if it helped?

I always take the latest firmware the day it is released, including 2.0, and have never had a problem. That said, I have no idea what 2.0 fixed since I was not having any problems before I took the upgrade. 2.0 may just fix playback issues with certain disks, but only Samsung knows for sure.

i usually leave mine alone till i have a problem w/a disc. i made my 1st update when batman begins wasn't playing, plugged it into the internet, made the update, then it played.

i'll probably wait till that happens again before i make anymore updates.
