Default Self powered sub.

Who here is energy concious enough to turn your sub off by it's built in power switch each night? Or do you leave it on standby for ease?

I'm lazy I don't feel like reaching behind each of my sub's to turn on/off. If I was to do that I might as well do it for everything that's in standby.

Another reason I guess I don't care, I live in an apartment and that's included in the rent.

If I was in my own home and was trying to cut back, I would have a master switch to turn everything off/on

I turn mine off after usage, not only to save electricity but to avoid the possibility of damage when I am not there.

What sort of damage could occur from it being in standby mode?

Really? Huh. Better not leave mine on standby then! Quite an odd thing though, as plenty of other electrical appliances stay on standby their entire lives. They never catch fire.

I purchased the Panamax M3500. I plug both by Aperion Bravus 10D subs into the conditioner. I connected a 12 volt trigger from my receiver, so when I turn on (or off) my receiver, it sends power to my subs (actives all my equipment) after a 5 second delay. Nice.

Hey bama, how is it having the 10D? Even a better question how is it pushing 2 10D's?? I have an 8D and thinking about picking up another sub for that even bass some of us want. You think a 10D and a 8D would be a good pairing? Or should I settle for another 8D?

Hey Cisco. I love everything about the 10D, starting with the aesthetics and size (WAF), to the accuracy and EQ control. I'll post my Bravus 10D x 2 sub experience on the Aperion Audio Subwoofer Owners Thread so not to divert this thread.
