Default Who owns this site?

I'm curious so what company owns this site? BDA? Sony? I mention Sony because they are probably the company trying to push Blu-ray the most.

None of the above. The site is not affiliated with the BDA.

Yet this site came to be right when the very first announcements of Bluray appeared back in 2002 or 2003 and with insider info too. Also the fact that the owner remains anonymous makes it all the more mysterious.

So my guess, this site is BDA or Sony sponsored but officially independent.
Just my guess.

and all the sites with DVD in the name are affiliated with Toshiba.

as for the insiders, most of these insiders I knew from other sites as well, I think like most here, they wanted a peaceful place where they can discus facts then deranged ramblings of HD DVD fan boys.

I don't understand your comparison. I am not saying all Bluray related sites are affiliated with the BDA either. I just show the smoke and assume there is fire, that's all.

I just think it is amazing that on the very first day and I mean the very FIRST day of Bluray being mentioned, this site was already up and running. look at the very first news article. For a private site started out of just interest it's quite amazing.

you did not show smoke, you made a bunch of random and useless comments. The same people that started this site also started HD-DVD.com when that name was officially decided. Like all the HD DVD fanboys, you decided Sony because it is the popular and easy choice but why not Panasonic, they make more money and have more IP in BD, why not Disney, they where the first studio to announce BD support. Like I said, most of the insiders here PM, Max, Kjack, Talkstr8t.... I knew from AVS long before I came here.

who knows, maybe a name change, or just stick with the name, how many "DVD" sites are now focusing more and more on BD?

You have a better chance of winning the Powerball lottery, getting struck by lightning, and making it inside Area 51 all in the same day before getting an answer to that question. LOL!

Why the hell are you trying to flame for ? First I did not start this thread, second I am just curious as to who owns this site. You don't answer the question ergo your posts are totally useless and random. Fair enough but don't piss me off in the process.
