So I have just started my diet a couple weeks agao.
Trying to lose about 70 lbs ![]() ![]() atleast 30 of that by the end of july what are you doing to help you lose weight? I Have Replaced soda with Diet V8 fruit juice, Eat Light Chicken noodle soup for lunch, and try my hardest to not eat again after dinner. Oh I also eat general mills cereal to help with my cholesteroal. and Lots of excersise. I think maybe I have lost 3lbs sense starting, but no scale to make that official. and the Gf I believe is getting me a wii for my birthday, to help make excersiing atleast fun ![]() Last edited by Forrestandjen07; 01-26-2009 at 08:19 PM. |

don't go by weight, go more by measurements and body fat level. weight alone can be misleading.
also, even though the V8 you are drinking is better than soda it is still loaded with sugar, carbs, and calories so keep that in mind. small things like that can keep you from optimal weight loss especially early on in the process. water is the safest way to go, good luck ![]() |

Space meals and make them small to keep yourself satisfied. 5. Jogging can never touch the benefits of weight training (not doing 25 reps of light weight) and High Intensity Interval Training. (HIIT), which means for example: Run 30 seconds Walk 1 minute Run 30 seconds Walk 1 minute Run 1 minute Walk 2 minutes etc etc. Good Luck |

I was drinking up to 3 cokes a day, and it was hard to cut out but I have done it. I tried to drink one soda for like a victory for kicking it, I could not finish it haah

I tried stopping cold turkey but would get these bad headaches and get cranky but I gradually stopped and replaced with water and now I only get a soda when I go out to eat which is pretty rare. |

I bought a watercooler and that was a great decision. I only drink water when it's really cold and since it's always there for me to drink I end up drinking more and more. Try using the soft drink as a "reward" and you'll see that when you drink less and less you won't be used to the sugar as much and you will have trouble finishing it.
