Default Is there something wrong with my Samsung HL67a750?

Check out these two pictures

See near the top center? I don't always notice it when I am too busy watching a good movie, but if you look close at the top center where the black bars are it almost looks like the tv is projecting part of the film onto the top black bars. Is that normal? Like I said it's not a huge deal, but was wondering if I should have someone come out and look at it. I don't want to be missing out on something, or have something wrong with the tv.

Thanks.

Is there anything on the opposite wall from the tv that could be reflecting a glare back on to the tv?

There's quite a bit of discussion on this on the AVS Forum. Simply go to google and type in "HL67a750 - AVS Forum" or "Hl61a750 - AVS Forum". From what I've read this is normal and has something to do with the your settings. You may want to lower the LED to "Low" and see if that fixes the problem. I'm not an expert and can't access the AVS forums right now, but if I remember correctly the discussion was on page 258 or so under the Hl61a750 forum.

I guess you only need to adjust the screen of the monitor. You can find bottons at the sides and try to adjust it.

i have the older LED (HLT6189s) model and do not have this issue. Looks like some kind of defect. I also noticed on the 2nd picture there looks to be a little white light above the frame of the Tv shinning on it. DO you have any light sources that might be shining on it. That could possibly cause the issue.

You have something that looks similar to what i saw on a new Vizio LCD i bought. I returned it and got another one that didn't have that issue.

There may be some misaligment on the inside case which is causign some light to escape into the inside of the Tv where it shouldn't.

You should definitely have a tech come out and take a look at it if it is in warranty. visiting the AVS forum as well is a good idea as well as if its a known issue it may have a fix or may be something samsung has yet to resolve.
