HP Laptop BLU RAY DVD player is playing films in negative.

can anyone help.My husbands HP bluray laptop is playing fims in a dodgy negative/sepia type colour-tried normal dvds and the same fault occurs.
On advice from a friend hes done system restore back to last weekend when it was working perfect.BUT now the hp dvd wont open up on screen-icon is on desktop but it wont work.Normal dvds are working properly now via media player but obviously need the hp dvd to play the blu ray movies..any help would be much appreciated..

What Operating system you using?

What Media Player you using..


There could be serveral reasons.. But I got a Question is it playing Green like Picture?
and If you can use VLC to play a DVD movie (doesnt matter what region I think) and go to the options on it and look for snap shot with the odd looking picture ...

If all else fails (this is if its just With Playing Videos) try re installing windows on it (of course back your important files to another PC or Flash Drive)
