Did you actually ask every cashier in every store in your area and didn't come across any? The cashier had some just sitting there next to him at Albertson's when I went there earlier today.

On the Monsters VS Aliens website, it lists Albertsons as a store but in my area, Albertsons switched back to Lucky's. Can I go get them at Lucky's?

I tried using my old red-blue Spy Kids glasses on the Monsters trailer, but didn't...100% quite work.

But it's still a color-separated system, so using those old Coca-Cola Duoptix<tm> glasses from the last time we had a 3-D SuperBowl halftime didn't work, either.
(And I'll still take Diet Coke Matador George Michaels over whatever that Sobe/Monsters/NFL thing was.... )

I have a few sheets of extra glasses that I can mail out, if you're willing to wait (and pay me 30 cents). I think each sheet has 4 pairs of glasses, and I took about 5-6 sheets from my local supermarket.

I guess I'm the reason some people weren't able to get any.

Are you guys telling me that SOME of you watched the ENTIRE superbowl wearing 3-D glasses? That's even worse than Michael Phelps smoking pot. I didn't even know that the superbowl was broadcast in 3-D. Nobody tells me anything around here.

it wasn't broadcast in 3D. At halftime they told you when to put your glasses on. Then they showed a movie trailer and 1-2 commercials in 3D. The glasses from the store were too flimsy and the 3D was average at best. I'm guessing Chuck will be the same tonight. I remember a while back Medium broadcast an episode in 3D that was disastrous. Good shows like Medium and especially Chuck don't need these gimmicks. I wish they would just stick to character/story development. I can't even watch Chuck tonight and its my 2nd favorite show (behind the TERRIFIC WONDERFUL SUPER FABULOUS BEST SHOW IN THE WORLD Friday Night Lights).

quick semi on topic question, will the 3D glasses you get with with movies like My Bloody Valentine work on blu-rays like Journey to the Center of the Earth, or do you need those cheap blue and red ones?

Had no glasses barely even watched as it looked like major @ss with all the green type tint and stuff going on. My wife and I looked all over for glasses here and nobody had them. Pretty stupid to show in 3d if you can't even get the f'n glasses for it.
