Tell your movie theater horror stories. We all have had to make up our minds whether we want to sit through the horrible movie, or deal with the annoying chatter boxes behind us. Usually, if your lucky you can get a refund with in a hour or less of the start of the movie...sometimes we are not so lucky

I think your right about your last point, nice theaters like art house/specialty cinemas take better care of there customers IMO. I drive 45 minutes further and pass several theaters do have that perfect experience.

there's a nice theater about 30 min from my girl in cinci..tickets are like 12 bucks, but the place is just plain awesome. when there's a movie i really want to see..i wait until i go down there to visit and see it there.

I havent ever asked for a refund due to the quality of the movie, but i have asked for refunds because of technical difficulties the theater was having, projection or audio issues. Alot of times they will just try and give you a free pass to another movie, though I always demand to have my cash back.
