Default Receivers with dual hdmi outs

I'm shopping for a new receiver and have come across a feature that is really interesting me... dual HDMI outs that can display the same thing simultaneously.

The Onkyo TX NR905 has duals..... but the way I read it...... it can only output from one at a time.

The Marantz SR6003 has dual outs...... and I THINK it can send the same signal through both outs simultaneously..... but what I read wasn't really clear on that.

Anyone know of any receivers under 1K that can do simultaneous output through dual HDMI's?

The Denon 4308CI has dual HDMI outputs in addition to component output. The dual HDMI output was one of the main reasons I bought it.

Can it do simultaneous output of the same signal.... two different signals at the same time... or both?

Yes..... I just figured that out by doing some research over at AVS. I guess I could wait a year for the Yamaha 3900 to come down to a price I want to spend

Yes, it can. I just tried it for your sake. I connected a 1080p projector and a small 15" 720p TV with HDMI cables, and a 65" 1080i TV with component cables. The DirecTV 1080i had signals on all three devices at the same time. Blu-ray from PS3 only displayed on the two HDMI monitors. For component, I have to connect PS3 with component cables and go to the menu and change the settings. I didn't bother.

you could try connecting an HDMI splitter to the output of the receiver, then connect the splitter outputs to the 2 displays. I haven't tried it, so i don't know if it will work properly, but in theory it should work.

I realize that the price may be out of your budget, but for your info, the brand new Denon 4308CI receivers are listed for $1,800 on Ebay. The list price is $2,400. The refurbished ones are around $1,000.
