Where to find the best price? - Blu-ray Forum

Im looking to purchase the Onkyo 606 and wanted to know is there was a central place that I could find the lowest price currently. I didnt see anything in the 'Hot Deals' forum.

If you don't mind it being reconditioned, Accessories4less has it at $299.99, otherwise your best price would be Vanns at 397.98.

Is there really a big difference between a reconditioned and new one? Well at least anything that would affect the sound?

I got my 605 from Accessories 4 Less reconditioned and it works great. No complaints here.

Thanks. I'm hoping Circuit City has another round of price cuts. They have several 606s at my local store, but are only discounted to $399

Make sure its from an Authorized Dealer so it will be covered under warranty.

Sound quality should not be affected at all. I would worry more about the long-term reliability of the unit but refurbished units do give significant savings.
