Half-Life 2 Question

Hey all. I was wondering if anyone knows if when Episode 3 is released, will it be on the PS3? And, if so, will the entire Half-Life 2 series be released on a single disc (ala Episode 2, but with the addition of Episode 3)? I haven't played any of them yet, but was wondering if I should wait in case I can get them all on a single disc. Thanks.

good question. Episode 3 won't be released for a year if i had to guess. I heard that they were concentrating on left 4 dead mostly with just a small team working one episode 2. Now that left 4 dead is out they are concentrating 100% on episode 3. If I had to guess there will be a pack , at least for the episodes, I don't know if they would do another orange box and simply add episode 3 but maybe.

As for coming to ps3 I would say it's "likely" because while I know Valve doesn't like working with ps3 , in an interview I read Gabe newell said that the ps3 was something they wouldn't be able to ignore in the future because of the demand for games on this console.

No doubt. While waiting for the game makes me very anxious , they deliver every time and get better.

Episode 2 was so action paced , it was the perfect amount for an episode and made episode 1 look bad in comparison.

Can't wait for episode 3 (half-life 3 eventually )

I remeber the recoil from the hand gun just blew me away. You can almost feel it.
