Default Maximum Overdrive (1986): Film Classic?

Your thoughts. Yes or no? Vehicles run amok? TCM material?

True. Have not seen it in a while, and might find it too silly at this point.

A cool, dumb movie. I still watch it whenever I see it on TV. Loved the Green Goblin Truck.

I would definitely say it's a classic. In the same way that The Rocky Horror Picture Show is a classic. Both are unforgettable films with incredible soundtracks.

One of the worst movies ever made. Even Stephen King realized he should never direct another movie.

yes! imo, awesome 80's horror (albeit funny) film. Loosely based on Stephen Kings short story, Trucks, I find it creative, replete with dark humor and a horror movie classic.

Much as I love King, I was not too impressed by this movie. This one was King's debut as a director right ?
