Default RCA LCD, bright spots in the corners?

Hey guys I have an RCA LCD 46" TV and I've had it about a year, and I have, I believe a 3yr warranty on it. I bought it from Walmart for $1200 and I don't know the exact model off the top of my head but I believe by looking at the specs its this one:

http://tv.rca.com/en-us/modeldetail.html?MN=L46WD250

The thing I'm noticing is that when its on, if the screen is black, I see bright spots in the corners, its like slightly to more then slightly noticeable (to me anyway my wife is oblivious), I bet I could get a pic of if with my camera, its that noticeable, but when a show fills the screen, I don't see it at all, but watching a movies its there because of the black bars.

Has anyone ever seen this behavior before? It *almost* seems like if the screen has pressure on those points, you know when you push on an LCD you can distort it, kinda like that but much more subtle. I have it mounted with another Walmart product, but its just screwed into the factory mounting areas so I assume its not supposed to be putting pressure anywhere bad.

its not quite, but something like this stand:

Any suggestions or concerns or what you guys think I can try or should do are very welcome.
