Default Tower of Terror

Quote:
After the tragic events of September 11th, the economy was in shambles (much like it is now). Everything was hurting, including all of the major theme parks (with all of the new fear of flying). In an interesting move, Disney decided to make motion pictures based on their theme park rides to try and get people back into their parks. After the smashing success of Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, two sequels were made, along with a movie based on their ride The Haunted Mansion. While there are many (announced) projects in the works, a source tells Bloody-Disgusting that a movie based on their awesome Tower of Terror is also in the grapevine. While rights issues are still being worked out, the plan is to follow a group of characters that enter a bizarre world where nothing is as it seems. While the ride is a spin on the "Twilight Zone" franchise, "Zone" is a Warner Bros. property.
