Underworld- which version is best? - Blu-ray Forum

US or UK?

I hear that the US version is in VC1 & has 5.1 audio

where as the UK version looks worse & sounds worse since tis encoded in mpeg2 & DTS sound.

does anyone know?

The US version has uncompressed PCM. So I say US version.

Almost bought the UK version (cheap) until I noticed the audio difference. I don't have the set-up now to notice but when I do.. I want to hear a difference.

Been looking for this title at a decent price for a while now.

The US version all the way

the sound is so puncy, I wasnt able to turn it up as loud as usual. Very impressive audio

US Version. The sound is amazing. It sounds like the bullet shells are actually hitting and rolling around my living room floor. Very sharp.

i agree- us version by a mile the uk version is distributed by entertainment in video. i would steer clear of all of there shoddy releases

The US version is superior. The opening scene when they're having a shootout at the subway gave my speakers a workout. You can hear the shells dropping so clearly.

I feel the sound of UK version is not so bad,because I'm imexpert about HD sounds.

There is another problem.
Resion code of UK version isn't free. It's locked as B.
So,you can play it only if you live in the area of resion B(Europe countries etc.).

Underworld Evolution has same problem.

is in order,

1, 2 and 3.

1 is the best, it has good plot and action. 2 is mostly action but doesn't go too far in plot. 3 is kinda repeat of 1, 1 has pretty much cover the past, but 3 is just expand explain.
