Awesome! Would have been better if they left out the race descriptors and just left it as a firefighter hero saving a child and being reunited.... but this the U.S. after all

I think the reason they did that was because of the issue of racism back in those years; especially since it was the African American civil rights movement.

True.. I'm just so sick of the racial crap being brought into everything (hence one reason it is still an issue today) but you are right.

Didn't mean to taint a great story though.

i get what youre saying, and i agree, but i do understand the reason for it in this case
