Default How's the PQ on these movies?

These movie are selling for $7.99 at tower.com and I'm thinking of getting it but I'm not too sure about the PQ. I really like the movies and already own it on DVD. Is the PQ good enough to warrant an upgrade to blu-ray? Is the PQ at least better than upconverted DVD?

Rambo: First Blood II
Total Recall
Stargate

They aren't great, but I would say that they are better than their upconverted DVD counterparts.

agree, and would add worth the upgrade (especially at that price)

I have Stargate, and I'd definitely say it's worth the upgrade for that price. (I got mine for $10.) The lab seens in the first act have a lot of noise, but the desert and spaceship scenes are really clean.

I heard a rumor that all of these movies also contain audio..... so you might want to look into that

Rambo: First Blood II
Total Recall
Stargate
The Rambo is pretty decent for a catalog title on Blu-ray. The other two are awful and not worth any price. Either wait on a remastered edition for Total Recall or import the region-free and superior looking U.K. version.

Thanks guys, I think I will just get Rambo II and skip the other two until better versions come out.

Rambo: First Blood II
Total Recall
Stargate
I own all three, but have only seen First Blood II: Not outstanding PQ, but a worthwhile upgrade.
