Default LG BD300 adds You Tube

I just received an update on my LG BD300 Network BluRay Netflix player. I now see it added You Tube to my HOME screen. Just thought i'd give you all a heads up.

That's nice. I wonder if youtube will go HD? Maybe Samsung will follow suit?

I would think so. It's a nice thing to have but not all the useful. Can't complain, it's an extra that wasn't available when I purchased the player.

HD would be nice, but I doubt it. The quality of the You Tube videos are pretty bad, but I do enjoy some music performances on there that can't be bought.

Its nice to see competition bringing more features to the buyers. We all benefit.

Default Check your regular DVD

I updated the firmware and Netflix, YouTube and Blu Ray all work great but standard DVDs no longer play.
Check yours and report back, and if it doesn't work call LG and report it.
Their number is 800-243-0000

Must be an issue of corrupt firmware updates then.
I am glad it is working for you but if it was more widespread I would expect a quicker fix.
