I've pre-ordered the German Pinocchio limited wooden box edition yesterday.

today, both the wooden box picture and the above discription were removed, guess it's very limited. Have my fingers crossed for the final delivery be in WOODEN BOX

The picture was there at amazon.de yesterday, it shown a beautifull wooden box along with a standard plastic packing. I didn't down load the picture as didn't know it would be removed so quick. Guess it is OOP now

I believe it is, doesn't make sense for them to make 1 for DVD and 1 for blu-ray

A user from bluray-disc.de called the firm, who made this nixe wooden box.
This wooden box is limited by 3000 copies, and the dvd-edition by 2000
