Default Does The Weather Affect Your Mood?

Personally, The weather has a big effect on my mood.
Rainy and cloudy days make me somewhat depress and sunny days are the happiest days of my life hahaha

i wonder if anyone feels the same way!

lol

Come live in Scotland. A good day is usually an overcast day with mild winds.

It does not rain as much as some ppl think depends where you live. But where i live there can be a lot in the spring and autumn.

Some years we might have a relay hot couple of day's.

A really hot day here's like 22c if your lucky.

(You have a different system of temperature measurement in America i think)

Last year we never had any relay hot days i can recall

When u live in country all your life where the weather is almost never sunny is pretty much windy and overcast all the time.

You just don't relay care much about the weather

I hate waking up and seeing that it's rainy out, but it doesn't really affect my mood too much. Sometimes I actually like rainy days, but, for whatever reason, I prefer it to start raining sometime after I wake up.

Weather doesn't really bother me any. Unless I wake up and their is a tornado roaring past my window, I'm fine.

There is nothing weatherwise short of a disaster that can really make you feel bluer than an April blizzard, or a late spring or early autumn frost while your garden is in full swing.

And like the poster from Scotland, here on the shore, anything better than about 65F in the summer is a good day. It can be 75F a mile from the shore, but if the wind is off the lake, it can still be 50F at the house. It's also not nice when a mile from the shore it's a beautiful sunny day, while at the house we're socked in with fog.

I live alone so a persistent cloudy dark and gray weather pattern would definitely get on my mood. Whereas a clear sky day or night is kind of soothing.

Not at all!
Irrelevent to my living situation.
I sit up in bed most of the day - don't really have much of a choice!

Rain, shine... who cares?
On rare occasions, if it's a nice day, I sometimes take one of my laptops in the back yard and enjoy(?) the fresh air and warmth.

LOL!
Raining today. Meh.
As long as I have one of these machines within my reach and it's connected - who cares?

Sitting here watching Bill Dance Outdoors on my 42". Mmmm... HD fishing!

Weather doesn't really bother me much, except I feel even happier if it is sunny with a blue sky out there.

Some people suffer from S.A.D., seasonal affective disorder, because of the reduced sunlight they receive during winter. It is somewhat common at the higher latitudes where the winters last longer. It leads to depression-like symptoms that go away when the spring comes.

A buddy of mine actually told me that's the reason why the suicide rate in Seattle is pretty damn high.

I'm the complete opposite...

I absolute HATE sunny days....

I'll take a sunny day when I have to fish or go to the beach... Otherwise, I want it raining, overcast, or snowing and the temperature between 30-60 degrees...

I live on Long Island so November - April is usually good for me.... Other months, I could do without..

I love the rain and I love the sun. However, the weather only effects my mood if I have to be out under the sun in 90 degrees or hotter weather for any long period of time. Unless I'm on my board waiting for a set, I hate being under the sun for too long. Give me the shade or a cool day any day.

I prefer hot weather over cold. Living in Newport Beach, you always want the sun to be out.

I grew up in Central Florida so I've had my fill of hot, humid weather. I don't mind rainy days as long as I don't have to be out in it or as long as it doesn't feel too humid afterwards. I like cool, overcast days best of all with a slight breeze, somewhere around 45-50 degrees. I can deal with cold weather okay too, as long as it's not lower than 10s and 20s.
