King Kong Blu-Ray Best Price?

Can anyone tell me where the cheapest place in Canada is to get King Kong (2005) on Blu-Ray including shipping? The stores near by me suck. They had maybe 1 copy of Kong and it sold. Nothing has come in since then. Thanks in advance.

I just bought a new copy of King Kong for $21,99 at Blockbuster of all places... It may be the same price on amazon but you don't have to wait for shipping :]

Yep I saw it at Blockbuster for that price too. It's actually cheaper than Amazon where it is $23 + shipping.

can tell you right now that sale is over and its been reaised to $29.99 like everywhere else. the lowest i've seen it since is $23.99 at dvdsnextgengaming.com its located in ajax so if you can drive there to pick it up from the store, you can even eliminate the shipping. borris may even give you a deal on the price, cuz hes a nice guy. (he's the owner of the store) check it out. hope this helps. and btw.. thats a blu-ray title you MUST OWN! i bought it on the release date and its by far one of the best transfers i've even seen. right up there with casino royale and tdk. goodluck!!

I grabbed mine from a blockbuster for $21.99 as well, although a lot of Blockbusters i have checked out have it marked up at $29.99...some of them even used to have it for $21.99 a few weeks back.

Thanks for the tip, but unfortunately there's no blockbuster near me. I got one on Ebay for $28 Canadian shipped.

you amaze me cardman, i clicked on this thread FULLY EXPECTING to see a plug by you. lol it's actually $1.04 cheaper @ amazon.ca

buy this with another BD and enter the "new customer" coupon code and suddenly it's a lot cheaper than ivan's store..or was it vladmir? or whoever that is that owns the site

if i was plugging, i'd be doing it for the place i work at which is blockbuster, not a diff store. hey, all i was trying to do was give my input on where i've seen the title at its lowest price recently. usually when i get a great deal, its either at blockbuster, futureshop and or borris' store and i was thinking about where he'd get the cheapest price without having to spend MORE money for another title. dont remember him saying he wanted to buy 2 movies, just one. how is that any different that what you do? you usually shopand get good deals from amazon so you promote it. plus with amazon he has to ship, and for me, alot of the time i prefer to drive to the spot n pick it up (if i can) cuz shipping is usually expensive. so this was my best option. and btw, do you have something against the store i mentioned? bad experience perhaps? why the negative feedback?

Nice. I noticed walmart sometimes shows Blu-ray prices on their website. For example I searched on walmart.ca for PINOCCHIO BLU-RAY and it shows it with a price of $29.83 which is one of the best i've seen for this in Canada. They only seem to have some Blu-rays on their website though.

i just think it's hilarious how hard you push for this store. sure i push hard for amazon, that's because they have the best prices. you also see me promoting used RV and BB movies, i also placed a 15 BD order with sig electronics (would order more there but $10 shipping kills it)...i've ordered once from chcanada, again the $2 per title or $6 shipping kills it. amazon is the most consistent for pricing. did boris ever sell Band of Brothers for $45 WITH shipping and taxes? doubtful...did he ever sell Firefly series for $30? doubtful. i go to where the deals are, if you can show me an amazing deal such as HALF OFF BoB or 60% off firefly...or 64% off the matrix trilogy, be sure to point me in that direction...wait, that's amazon right? oh yeah...or we could spend a few extra bucks and support the little guy. we get NOTHING out of that sorry

to each their own, i'm sure everyone has their own favourite place to shop. me for instance, admit to being a bit bias against BB cuz i work @ a RV. best thing to do is pick the movie you want, and then search for a deal wherever for that movie. i use this site as a wishlist holder so i got a list of ones to check deals on.

btw last i checked RV price for King Kong was 26.99, so shop around :P

I picked mine up at Future day one for 24.99, i believe it still is that price and I know King Kong is also part of the 2 for $50 at HMV. I see there are cheaper prices but I figured I'd let you know

i can tell you for myself, i picked up the batman begins special collectors ed set for $24.99 at that store (reg 49.99 at other stores) and titles like:

paschendale, iron man, transformers for as low as $21.99 (brand new releases 29.99 or more everywhere else) t
he godfather trilogy for $49.99 (reg 89.99 elsewhere)
and planet earth for 59.99 (reg 79-89 other places)

plus when i picked up the bourne trilogy, he allowed me to trade in my reg dvd boxset for $20 off the price of the new one (which no other store anywhere would do for me, not even bb where i work!) so yeah, i promote it cuz i do really appreciate the cx service he provides me with when i go in there. and ur right, i dont think he ever had a sale on the bond sets or firefly, but hey, other than amazon and futureshop.. i've never seen those sales anywhere else. now I could knock amazon for having such high prices on the titles i mentioned compared to his store:

Godfather Trilogy CDN$ 84.95,
Iron Man CDN$ 30.95,
Planet Earth CDN$ 86.95

but i dont, cuz i recognize that everyone has their own fav spot, and as much as i can respect that, i dont like it when ppl knock others for recommending a sale from any store (despite what they think of it) its just not cool or fair to the person whos only trying to help out. even i get upset when ppl promote bestbuy cuz i've had bad experiences there so i know you did mean anything towards me, rather maybe just the store and thats fine. so enough said, i wont take ur comments personally.
