Punisher: Warzone region - Blu-ray Forum

oh man i hope this blu-ray is region free. I live in Australia and Sony cancelled the theatrical release and the dvd wont come out till late in the year......f*#k that, i want the movie sooner (and in High Definition). it's hard to say if Lionsgate will make it region free or not, they're random when it comes to region coding.

Just watched a rip of it last night, the movie is so kick ass it's not even funny. I can't wait until the blu hits.

worse comes to worse and it is coded the UK get lionsgate stuff fairly quickly compared to us just import it.

Didn't see this in the theater, might check it out on Blu. It just looked kinda cornball from the trailers. After seeing the Thomas Jane film I still think the Dolph Lundgren version is best.... I think it's funny that it took them three completely different films to actually put an effin white skull on his shirt...

Count me as one of the converted. I thought the trailers sucked too, but the movie is great grade B fun, and I will get the Blu on release day.

I did not get a chance to see this in the theaters. I think I'll rent first rather then blind buy. The film got mixed reviews.

To paraphrase Roger Ebert, Punisher War Zone is an extremely well made bad movie. I loved it, but I'm a huge Punisher fan. If you are looking for another Taxi Driver , look elsewhere. But if you are a fan of the character and/or ridiculous violence that doesn't take itself to seriously, then check it out.

Yes, very violent. Just as The Punisher should be! I loved this flick and cannot wait to pick it up on blu. Rockin soundtrack with explosions and blood..... a great date film.

Lionsgate don't own the UK rights, Sony do. I just grabbed a 2.36gb BD rip off the net and that'll do me fine for now.

It p!sses on the last Punisher movie. For all its flaws,(horrible production design, crap villains and sh!t metal soundtrack being amongst them), Ray Stevenson embodies the character perfectly. He's one mean futher mucker!

The Thomas Jane Punisher one sucked ass. I'm a Punisher fan and I thought the originall Dolph Lundgren one was way better than the second one. This new one looks badass and I'm dying to go see it!
