Oversized packaging. - Blu-ray Forum

Sorry if this has been posted, also if it is in the wrong spot please move.

What do you guys do with oversized packaging (ex. The Notebook) I like my Blu's to have a nice flow to them and oversized packing ruins that. How do you guys display these monster cases??? See pic below.

For my movies, I just keep them all in alphabetical order, but for my games, I actually keep my oversized stuff in another section, in alphabetical order (strangely enough, it's also in decreasing order of case size, but that's just a lucky coinky-dink).

For oversized packaging I have for example the dirty harry box set and natural born killers. I make a new cover and put it in a regular case. Problem solved. Photoshop and picture paper.

I buy oversized or "special" packaging only on movies and games I really, really love so I don't have that many but since I am kind of pround to have them I try to show them along with all my other Blu's and DVD's. And I do them alphabetical order too.

Bingo, that is actually what I do. Did that for Shawshank and Amadeus digibook (hate those things)

If you look at my HT Gallery I've got the perfect solution for them. I was bugged by them constantly not being uniform until I could just shut the door.

Wow the Notebook just fits on your shelf lol. I don't have many large box sets. I stay away from them. However, I'll have to bite the bullet on the Wizard of Oz when it comes out. I picked up the Blade Runner briefcase and proudly display that on my player stand but that's it so far.

Personally, I place the oversized ones at the ends. Everything else is alphabetized, though. So, in your display, I'd have The Notebook either at the very beginning or the very end. Not perfect, but it works for me.

as far as oversized box go casablanca is the winner, have you seen that box? it's really big... too big... so i keep only the case holding the disc and i keep the box in a desk somewhere out of view.
