Default Paramount Customer Service is top notch.

Just thought I would share my experience for anyone who might have issues with a blu ray they own.

About two months ago I encountered a issue with my copy of Cloverfield. It played fine numerous times on my BD30, Then finally on my parents sammy 1400 so they could watch it. It ended up freezing in the same spot everytime, so I placed it back into my BD30 and it would say "Copyright Violation". Kinda ticked me off since I spent $25 bucks on it at the time.

Emailed Paramount about the issue, got a E-mail in return within 8 hours of sending my first one. Requested my Name, address, and UPC from the package and they would possibly send a new one in 4-6 weeks. Well today, less than two weeks from the first E-mail sent, I have a brand new one in hand.

I was amazed at how easy they made the process and how fast it was handled. Definately a thumbs up on the Customer Service!!!!

Yea, plus it would be kinda hard to get a replacement for a bootleg........

Fox is the same way, you have to mail the defective movie to some shady address(its a name and a house address) and they mail a new copy via UPS

No mine was not bootleg. Thats what confused me the most. It was bought from best buy brand new. I thought it was interesting also, that they did not request the defective disc back either. Just sent the new one and nothing in return. But definately makes me happy with them, and to know that if I have any issues with them that they will rectify it quickly.

usually they want the defective product so that you can destroy it. kind of strange.
