Talking Wow!! What Great Sound!!

I just wanted to give props to our sound systems. What I mean is basically on every thread we have people saying my speakers are better than yours, Your amp sucks this HTIB is no good and with all the hate on the news and in our lives I would just like to say that audio is amazing. Due to a small surgery, I have had the privilege of listening to allot of music lately. I found it to be amazing the highs and lows the sound of the instruments and voices everything. From Tool to Jack Johnson it has been amazing. Does anyone else think that we need to give thanks for our audio equipment no matter what it is.Because music of any kind has the ability to move all us.

I wonder what surgery you talking about. Believe it or not, when I was about 10 or 11, I had re-built ear drums taken from skin behind my ears. Therefore, I have completely involved myself in the world of audio, and want to know as much as possible.

Music moves the soul, Clams the most savage beast , & puts a smile on everyone face, Weather it's on a thousand dollar system or just a boom bx at work, it really just makes the day brighter...I agree.... With things the way they are, I just finally hooked up my new Monster Z2R speakers cable to my fronts today , so now the Klipsch RF-82's are Bi-Amped, all I can say is wow. Not alot of difference but i feel it to be more fuller and deeper now ,My impression, I bought these a few weeks ago befor things at work went crazy, Bad timing I guess , but hey I was happy to finish my goal. LOL ,

My HT setup gets more use as a 2-channel rig, since Audio (and specifically listening to vinyl) is my primary source of enjoyment.

John

The exact reason why I separated my audio room from the rest of the video equipment. It's an after work sanctuary for me. Trust me, I need the down time.

Careful. Alcohol has been known to enchance the effects of painkillers. Which as we know enchances auditory perception. Just thinking now. With the right mix your hearing could almost become bionic.

I also recently bi-amped my RF-82's and I agree that I can tell a difference. My use is primarily HT, but it seems the highs are better defined and sharper.

Even though I don't use my system for music very much, I'm still grateful for it, as the OP suggests, because movies are often the escape I need to help me relax.

Hey Fireman, I was thinking of making Bi-amping my next upgrade, since finances are kinda tight right now. Would you say it is a worthwhile, noticeable difference.

Since I cant really afford what i really want right now (separate Emotiva Amp), i figure this would be the next best thing to just improve the sound a little.

I don't understand why people say that speakers are better then others. I spent a lot of time listening to speakers before buying mine. I've got hearing loss in certain ranges, so some speakers just did not sound that good compared to others. Speakers that somebody else thinks are the best ever I may think are the worst ever because a lot of it's sound comes on certain wavelengths that I just can't hear. Speakers are a very personal thing, it depends completely on the one person listening to them and nobody else.
