So Blockbuster had JCVD for buy today on blu ray. So I got it and noticed it is not suppose to be out till april 29 but the movie was amazing. Van Damme was so good in this movie and the PQ and AQ was also a treat.

People on HDDhave posted they saw it at Blockbuster. According to this poster , it only has DD 5.1 audio in English and French. The French release has French DTS-HD MA 5.1 and the UK has French TrueHD 5.1

I will say that the english version is bad b/c it is dubbed and poorly, even jean claude van damme i suggest wathing it in french and using subtitles, much better when jean claude is giving his sad moving speech

i was amazed as well! i just got back from blockbuster and my store had it in and they told me it came out feb 24th!? either way im psyched to watch this!

This came out a few weeks ago in the UK, couldn't believe what a great performance JC actually gave. I pretty much detest everything else he has done and the film genre he represents, but i was amazed, this guy can actually act, and really really really well.

not too sure what that guy was talking about. i just finished watching the US version and my audio was fine. all you need to do is set the audio to the "theatrical version" and you should be good to go. the english is obviously in english and anything else foreign has subs just like any other movie. good flick too. im happy BB has it out already.

i was shocked at how good this film was didnt think van damme could be that good

Are you sure the English voices arent dubbed?

if it was i couldnt tell. they were speaking in english so i dont know why they would even have to dub. i thought they only dubbed when they used an english voice and they were actually speaking a foreign language in the movie.

I've been thinking about this movie for awhile on whether I should watch it or not. Based on everyone's opinions, I might reconsider myself.

I'm not ashamed to admit that I was/am a pretty big JCVD fan. I probably won't blind buy this movie, but I will definitely give it a rent.

yes this movie is dubbed b/c the first scene was not but when the film goes to france it is and you can tell, definitely b/c van damme has his voice dubbed and you can tell. I enjoyed this movie a whole lot more when I used subtitles but great movie

I bought this movie yesterday in France,
it has French audio DTS HDMA only with english subs.
and is region A-B-C

I also found Crimson river (kassovitz) same thing, DTS HD MA french only with english subs, region A-B-C

I didn t put the disc in my player yet so I can t say anything about picture,
will post again later
