Hoping this one will be out soon, was considering getting it on DVD but I don't want to double dip due to Disney's ridiculous prices.

I could totally get behind this one. I remember this one as a child and loving the story. I'm sure it'd be great to share with my boys.

Not as far as I know, doubt we'll be seeing it any time soon. If vaulted DVDs weren't so much I'd get it on DVD to tide me by until the BD comes out.

Disney's animated classics of the 1960s are now treasured memories of my childhood: One Hundred and One Dalmatians (1961), The Sword in the Stone (1963) and The Jungle Book (1967) are movies I am waiting to add to my Blu-Ray collection just as soon as they appear on the shelves. Now it's going to be my grandchildren who can appreciate all over again what their grandparents enjoyed as children, too. The wait will be worth it.

Along with Robin Hood this is probably one of my most anticiapted Disney releases.

This was pretty much my fav as a kid, this would be a day 1 pickup for me! It'll happen, question is....when.

I thought I would bump this thread. With the release of Hunchback,Mulan and Roger Rabbit; this is one one my faves. Anyone know if it will be released in 2013?

I hope it comes out in '13. We saw a lot of releases this year that I never expected. Sword in the Stone is one of my favorites; I used to watch it all the time when I was younger. I like it better than Robin Hood.

I would love to have this on blu ( I still have the VHS mix tape my mom made me with this on it) by far one of my favorite films.
