Default Have you ever seen Silence of the Lambs ?

The first time I ever viewed this film, I thought it was stupid, boring, and a waste of how ever much money they spent on making it. Last year I saw in on one of the HBO channels, so I watched it, and it was at the ending. I ran out to the store the next month and I bought it, and I feel like I robbed the store, because I got it for only five dollars.

Anthony Hopkins does a fantastic job playing the psycho, and I was really brought into the mindframe that he was Hannibal Lector. I loved the ending sequence when she
[Show spoiler]is blinded by darkness, and Buffalo Bill is stalking her in his home
.
This is a very suspenseful movie, and it has a terrific cast. I would recommend it to anyone.

Umm... it won best picture and Hannibal has gone down in history as one of the best movie villains of all time. I think the more appropriate question is if you HAVEN'T seen it. And if people haven't, rent it!

Great movie, just came out on BD today!

I saw it three times at the theater, plus multiple times on VHS (yes there was no DVD at the time!) and then DVD. Incredible movie.

BTW don't spoil the ending for the others who might have not seen it.

Maybe you accidentally bought the sequel (Hannibal) thinking it was the first film? And I thought this guy was crazy...........

Seen it once, enough for me, just not my type of movie. It's good however, Anthony Hopkins is incredible as Hannibal Lecter and Jodie Foster is often overlook I think on that role, she is far from being outclass.

not just "one of", THE BEST villian ever, according to AFI

of course, that's up for debate with Vader and others, but i loved reading how Hopkins got his inspiration of Lecter's voice from none other than HAL 9000 from 2001 Space Odyssey

Silence of the Lambs is one of my favourite horror films ever. Hopkins is haunting as Lector and the movie is just really intense and twisted. I will be buying it on Blu-ray soon.

One of the best films I've ever seen. Very well acted by Jodie Foster and Anthony Hopkins.

I've never seen Manhunter. Will have to look that up.

I fully agree about Manhunter being the superior film, Silence of the Lambs is good though.

More Michael Mann films need to appear on Blu-ray, starting with Manhunter and Heat
