Silence of the Lambs

I bought Silence of the Lambs from Amazon, but the disc does not play on my Panasonic BD10. Does anyone else have problems with this title? The menu shows up, but that's all...
I don't buy many Blu Ray discs ( have bought approximately 60 in the last 2 years) but this is the first one that I have a problem with. My copy of Gandhi takes very long to load, but finally the movie starts without a problem.
"SIlence of the lambs" however doesn't seem to work at all.

Update your firmware. If that doesn't work, wait for the next firmware update.

firmware should fix this problem....i had the same issue with "The Love Guru"...worked great up to the menu screen then NOTHING would work! Firmware is where it's at!

Thanks, After the latest update it works, even though loading still takes very long.

Get a PS3 and that loading problem will be fixed as well.

Or a newer Panny. I have the BD30 which loads almost as fast as my PS3. I would assume that the newer models maintained the 30's loading speed. Can't say for sure though. My BD30 has yet to fail playing any disc. I don't even bother installing every firmware update, usually skip a couple. I know that I'm one upgrade behind right now, but have never once had a problem with it. Truly a great piece of hardware

mine doesn't play on my xbox one...it plays through movie previews then once it gets to loading the menu, it goes black...this is not a bluray disc issue, all my other blurays work great on my xbox one...it has something to do with the encoding of the disc...some bluray's are encoded differently then others....it plays on my PS3 just fine though.....watching it now......so yes this has something to do with firmware of some bluray players or software of the bluray apps like the xbox one bluray app..i have contacted xbox and they are looking into it....i'm hoping for a answer....this should never happen....lets hope i get a answer soon
