Question Onkyo 806 "late night" feature...

i can bring this option up when im watching tv (dolby digital)

but when im watching a blu ray thru my ps3 (multich) i cant access this feature.

any reason why not?

and if there is not a way to access this when watching on 'multich' is there any way bitstream would work?

im worried about waking up the wife & kids after 1030pm so i need some sort of conclusion of else i have to constantly raise/lower the volume when watching a blu

If it doesn't work on Multich on the 806 (mine doesn't on the 605) it'll work with bitstreaming. Another option if you have the PS3 is to use the DRC option. Turning it on should have the same effect.

It will only work for Dolby.

DRC option is basically a LOUD option you see on car radios. it makes the sound richer/fuller at lower than relative volume
