Thank you for the heads up...great news! I'm not preordering...I want to pick this off of a store shelf and know I have it day one. This will call for a couple days off of work.

Pre-ordered! Thanks for the heads up. Hopefully we are truly locked in. Knowing how Fox loves to overprice their Blu-rays this thing will probably be 70 bucks when it comes out.

Well said. When do everyone think they will start releasing Seasons 1-6? Will they perhaps do a complete boxed set when the series is over?

I am kinda curious why everyone is jumping on this so much. Its the current season which is not even over yet. I would much rather see the previous seasons released. I do agree that is it a great price but with no good word on when the other seasons are going to be released, i would rather wait til the season is over before i even think about taking the plunge.

So far season seven is about the same as season six quality wise so this announcement isn't blowing my mind. Now if season one was being released...

no way is season 7 the same as six. 24 is finally getting back to good story lines, great action, and interesting plot twists!

I second that! And no way is season 7 close to the crapfest that was Season 6. The new season has been relentlessly good.

Pre-order now guys. I used to think amazon never raises prices on pre-orders but I discovered that they sometimes do.
