Default Internal laptop drive question

I am looking to add an internal BD-rom drive to my HP DV9030us. I ran the Cyberlink BD advisor, and everything else on my computer is good enough to support blu-ray playback. I was looking at either purchasing the Lite-on external BD drive for $130 from tigerdirect, or an internal drive (one of the pansonics maybe). Can anyone give me their opinion on which would be a better choice, and where i could find a good internal drive that doesn't cost too much? Thanks for any help you can give.

what is your original optical drive ? if is IDE connection, only panansonic UJ-120 or Sony-Nec 5500A for upgrade, if use Sata , lots of Blu ray combo now. very cheap. half of external desktop BDROM price.
