Default Question about component upscaling

Which setting do I have to use as in the upscale section in BD/DVD settings their is 4 options which one do I use as I have used the full screen display and it did not work. Also what is that RGB white setting ?

Same questions here - I see the upscaling difference on my PS1 games (Crash looks good) - but nothing on a DVD movie regardless of setting I choose. Lettering when I press PS button still is 480p...

well I'm also running via HDMI and have my upscaling set at 'Full'... my TV indicates that its a 1080i signal... no problems there...

but when I had it at 'Double' the movie only filled 80% of the screen... very strange... my LCD is 1366X768...

None of the options will make any difference for you because you require an HDMI cable for DVD upscaling. It even tells you this when you change from 'Off' to any of the three upscaling options.

I mean about upscaling PS1/PS2 games by component?

That should work. Under Game Settings use 'PS/PS2 Upscaler' : 'Normal' for 4:3 games and 'Full Screen' for 16:9 games. 'PS/PS2 Smoothing' is up to you, in most games you'll probably find it beneficial. In a game like Rez I find it better turned off.
