Which setting do I have to use as in the upscale section in BD/DVD settings their is 4 options which one do I use as I have used the full screen display and it did not work. Also what is that RGB white setting ?

well I'm also running via HDMI and have my upscaling set at 'Full'... my TV indicates that its a 1080i signal... no problems there...
but when I had it at 'Double' the movie only filled 80% of the screen... very strange... my LCD is 1366X768... |

I really need someone that uses component as HDMI is no use to me at all.

That should work. Under Game Settings use 'PS/PS2 Upscaler' : 'Normal' for 4:3 games and 'Full Screen' for 16:9 games. 'PS/PS2 Smoothing' is up to you, in most games you'll probably find it beneficial. In a game like Rez I find it better turned off.
