Default your receiver is cheater!!!

if your speaker 4ohms with AV/Receiver is cheater switched~!
you can mixer 4 ohms and 8 ohms speakers on AV/Receiver will sink heat!

Amplifier can't switch mixer 8/4 ohms on speakers.

Okie dokie then.

I've always wondered about that. Can't tell you how many sleepless nights I've had over this. Tossing and turning just trying to figure it out.

By no means do I mean anything derogatory by this, but is the OP using some Blu-ray Forum language that I'll have to decode in order to become a Blu-Ray Guru?

ok...so i think you are saying that a receiver cannot tell if it is powering 4ohm or 8ohm speakers and that if you mix the two the receiver will overheat?
