Special Bond release in Canada - Blu-ray Forum

Anyone else see this? What we in Canada get LICENCE TO KILL and THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN almost 2 months before anyone else does.

That is a sweet release but I still enjoy enjoy the individual releases.

Yes, I spotted this also.

The trouble I have with this is that the packaging does not match Vol. # 1, 2 & 3.

All three titles will be available separately (QUANTUM OF SOLACE released on March 24) but there has been no offiical announcement about what would be included in Vol. # 4.

MOONRAKER and MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN have already been announced for release in May 2009 while we await for an official announcement on the third title to complete Vol. # 4.

Vol. # 4 may include a different 3rd title, other than QUANTUM OF SOLACE, such as GOLDENEYE or DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER, both of which have been previously mentioned.

So what to do ???

I'm waiting for the sets that match collection #1 and #2. I'll buy Quantum by itself next week (already have it pre-ordered from CH).

This is out of control. Am I crazy?
If I go to Hi-def digest or other sites, it says: Goldfinger, Moonraker and World is not enough. Throw in Quantum and Never Say Never Again, release on the 24th
Now click on the U.S. Best Buy ad and you can get Golden Gun and License 2 kill.ALSO ON THE 24th

REALLY on the 24th I can get 7 yes SEVEN new Bond Blu-rays?????Might have to buy QofS twice huh?

This is strange. The package does not look like Vol 1, 2, 3. Not only the artwork but also the design of the box itself. Why would they do that?

I think it looks different because its not and "Official" 3pack. I think its more of a Best Buy exclusive.

wait - why would you have to buy QofS twice. Why not just don't buy it separately, or wait 2 months and buy Golden Gun and License to Kill separately?

And you do realize that 7 Bond Blu-rays came out back in November too right? two 3 movie volumes plus the special edition of Casino.

What is crazy is the movies being released in March in the box set but not until May separately. Just give us the separates in May too as the discs are obviously ready. Of course, it could be some sort of mistake on the date and maybe this 3 disc box won't come out until May.

Considering QoS is around $26 itself, this set is a pretty good deal.

QoS is on the shelf today at Walmart in Canada (at least the one near me) in case anyone wants it early.
