T3 release in Canada question - Blu-ray Forum

I've left a message at Warner Canada BUT... does any fellow hoser know if the proper re-release of T3 in proper 1080p, had a different Barcode number on the clamshell than the American number of 3000016223 as reported on Digital Bits? I can't find the new release anywhere up here. Looks like all retailers are still burning through the initial run. Whussup wit dat, homies?

According to another user, the UPC code for the new release is 883929017102

For my part, all I know is that it is not 88392900494

Any way, Warner will send you a replacement if you get the wrong version (I should be receiving mine soon!)

Where d'you think Digital Bits got 3000016223 from? Is it strictly a US barcode number? I'd rather find the proper one in a retailer now, than buy the wrong one and have to wait a few weeks to get the right one in the mail, y'know what I mean? Is the number you post here confirmed by anyone else?

Just heard from Warner on this... they say up here, the newer release should have a catalogue number of 1000038308 and a barcode number of 883929016938. Soon see!

That is the UPC for the US corrected version. It won't be the same for Canada (unless the US copy as french translated text on the back...).

Turns out you and your contact were correct here. I ran around this morning trying to find Warner Canada's numbers they gave me... no one had them but Best Buy had one copy of the 88.....102 which made me suspicious so when I got to work, I re-called Warner Canada. Sure enough the same guy there admitted he gave me wrong info and the correct Canadian version is in fact 883929017102 with the number 1000038327 as well so mystery solved.
