In the case of Almost Famous it is because paramount has the rights of the film in the US and worlwide is Sony so they have different schedule the same with cinderella man universal have the rights in the USA and Buena Vista (disney) have the right worldwide

With the TDK is because Warner is really cool and have the best BD prices

Twilight its available since this past friday march 20th.
Friday 13th Part 2 and 3 are availables since a few months ago.

Wow with the currency conversion, it is very cheap. Sadly they charge about as much for shipping as they do the cost of the BD.

Example: TDK: Shipped to Missouri
Subtotal $239.00
Envío: Shipping $212.40
= envio
Total: Total $451.40

$32 American, currency conversion would make it about $36

I'm going there next week, and will be staying for two or three weeks. I
would like to know where (what stores) could I buy Blu-ray movies, last year I was there they didn't know what the HELL I was taking about when I asked for Blu-ray movies.

do not expect to have lots of titles, but maybe you can find good ones, my recomendation will be to visit this 2 stores or ask them to call other stores to verify stock, at least here in Monterrey most of stores had at least 3 o 4 different titles, also go to walmat most of them have BRs not many too but some qtys

if you would ask one week prior your trip you could have delivey on your staying time also if some of the people that you are visiting could recieve your orders

The last time I was there, I went to Walmart and asked for BR's and you should of seen the face's they maid, they thought I was But I'm sure lots has change in the past year!

In Mexico City.
Probably other states do not have the titles as quick as the City.
But in Mexico City for sure you can find it in major stores like Liverpool, Sears, Mixup, Palacio de Hierro, Blockbuster, Costco and Sam's Club. Sometimes you can find a few titles in Wal-Mart.
