Sony BDp S300 skipping/freezing - Blu-ray Forum

My Sony s300 is skipping and freezing, I can't understand this as I installed the firmware upgrade, has anyone else had this issue?

have you cleaned the heads lately? Should be done every 10 hours of use.

Clean the discs before playing them.
I have S500 since a year + now. No firmware update, no lens clean, no skipping, no freezing, yet I look on every disc surface before inserting it in.
