onkyo 806 (5.1 setup)
polk t90e front l/r
polk cs1 center
polk monitor 30 rear
onkyo HTiB subwoofer (sr800 home theater sub)

now im LOOKING at getting a klipsch ksw10.
will i hear ANY difference at all?
if so what difference will i hear?

im a little hesitant when it comes to a subwoofer as i dont know if it will justify me spending the $$$

How much is that sub? Many people swear by the E.D. subs.... I have no experience with them, but I have heard the Klipsch, Polk, and BIC subs, and wouldn't touch any of them If I were you.

You'd hear a difference, and it'd be worth it..... but you could do better I think.

P.S.

Yeah, I've heard a lot of people love their E.D. A2-300's. That is the next sub I am getting when I upgrade.

Invite me over if you get one, I've been wanting to know what one sounds like.

But I agree with Beta, stay away from subs from mainstream speaker manufacturers.

Go Jets!

you should check out the eD thread on this site. You'll find my review, although very unorganized because I was so excited, among some other reviews from other members on this site. It's smooth when it has to be and rough and hard when it should be! It blends nicely once calibrated into your system...love my A2-300. No regrets, and I don't think twice about the wait anymore. It was truely worth it. And compared to the Klipsch Sub10 or Sub12, I love the sound of the eD A2-300 over those subs...

Agreed. I have an SVS sub you can see what it looks like if you click my gallery it is the cylinder next to the treadmill. There are a few like SVS eD and one more the name is escaping me.......They are really popular among theatre enthusiasts. Just keep in mind, they are not small.
One more thing to keep in mind...eD usually have a wait period (get in line), I am not sure how long it is right now. But to get what you deserve do the waiting game to get the better sub if required.
I would totally recommend SVS if they are within your budget, and, IF you want a LOT of base. Personally I bought one and can never turn it up it is too much for me, but I have the sound I want just by lowering the gain control.

IF you buy a 10", you'll be saying later that you should have gotten the 12...that's my 2 cents worth. And why are you not looking at Polk since they comprise the rest of your speakers???

I'm going to sell a Klipsch KSW-10 on eBay in the next few days. I'm buying a Hsu VTF-2 or VTF-3 as an upgrade. The Sub is in perfect condition and I have the original box/packaging. Nothing wrong with it, I just have a very large room.

If you're interested just let me know. I have 100% feedback on eBay and have been a member over 10 years.
