Capcom, Nippon Ichi, Namco Bandai, Gust, And Idea Factory Team For RPG Fan's Wet Dream!!!

Quote:
Cross Edge is a new RPG due out in Japan for the PlayStation 3 this September that is a collaboration between some of the top names in the genre. Nippon Ichi, Gust, Namco Bandai, Idea Factory, and even Capcom have lent their properties to this superstar game, which features characters from Darkstalkers, Disgaea, Ar Tonelico, and many more. Hell, a game with Etna and Morrigan together alone is worth eleventy million dollars. The game features turn-based battles, a plot that involves rescuing souls, and...if you look to the bottom right corner of the scan...the ability to dress your characters up in a wide variety of outfits, from PE clothes to devil costumes.

This game is going to be huge for the PS3!!

I doubt this will ever come to the US.

Think Namco X Capcom for the PS2.

I hope this comes to the US, although I think its doubtful....
I loved Disgaea and I think turn-based battles are great, I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Sony needs to kick in the money for an english translation, if that's what it takes to bring it over.

Man I hope this or any other RPG comes out soon for the PS3. Hell I think the last great JRPG I played was FF10 on the PS2. We need something to tide us over until FF13 and FFVesrus13 come out.

Hmm I had actually read the article before, and like most good anime based rpgs it will probably not make it stateside.. just like the tenchi muyo rpg for snes or the ranma rpg for snes.

Atlus has been bringing some pretty obscure JP games here to the US, so there's a slight chance this could be released.

I hope something comes out in the next year, other than FFXIII, and Wasteland, there is really a lack of RPGs so far.

Yes, I have to agree with you. Anime is good and all, but I don't like looking at that character styling for any period of time. I'll see what the reviews have to say about this one.

Where are you FF13?
