Default Wanting new DVR
Hello everyone. I'm new to this forum. I have a couple questions.

1)I've had a Panasonic DMR-HS2 DVR recorder for about 7 or 8 years. I've had very good luck with it. It has been a real work horse, but it's beginning to show its age. Now I'm looking to replace it. The next logical step is blue-ray. A blue-ray burner would be great, but a decent player with a HDD to record tv programming would be fine. Any suggestions on a machine at a reasonable price?

2)Will all blue-ray players play convention DVD and DVD-R discs?
