I plan to get Quantum of Solace at the end of the week at Best Buy. In this week's BB ad, I looked at the section where all the Bond Blu-rays were on sale this week. And there was a special where you save $10 when you buy any 2 Bond Blu-ray movies, and I'm leaning towards Goldfinger as the second movie. With the exception of Casino Royale, I have the steelbooks of Dr. No, From Russia With Love, and Thunderball, but I still don't have the steelbooks of Live and Let Die, For Your Eyes Only, and Die Another Day from the first wave of Bond releases and my BB store still carries the steelbooks of said films. So I'm really at a crossroads here when it comes to choosing Goldfinger over completing the first wave of Bond releases. Should I give in and get Goldfinger in the regular blue Elite Blu-ray case at Best Buy, or just get the Goldfinger steelbook on Amazon?

You know, after thinking it over, I'm just gonna go on and complete my first wave of Bond steelbooks at Best Buy and then move on to ordering them from Amazon, starting with Goldfinger. To me, there's no point in breaking away from the steelbook tradition now. Thanks, Sussudio and cvm!

Might as well. It's all worth it in the end Last edited by drobswim13; 03-27-2009 at 05:55 PM. |

I'm not a big steelbook fan, it just seems to me to be missing the point (not that I begrudge anyone something they enjoy) BUT... because I got the first three Sean Connery bonds in a steelbook I found it hard to not spend the extra on this.
